The latest Fortnite update brings Megazord from Power Rangers. This event works just like the Godzilla event previous season. You can pilot Megazord and fight other players while stomping around the Fortnite map. But first, you need to know where to find it and how to tranform into Fortnite, so let us take a look at all the portal locations and how to use Megazord abilities!
All Megazord Portal Spawn Locations on Fortnite Map
The Megazord doesn’t appear in the same spot every game. The portals that bring it down are mostly random, but there are certain areas where it shows up more often than others. You can spot the Megazord coming before it lands. Look up at the sky and you’ll see all the Power Rangers combining together to form the giant robot. After this animation finishes, the Megazord drops down to the ground in a special capsule.
The Megazord only appears during the second storm circle. It won’t show up at the start of the match. You need to wait for the second storm to begin closing in. We’ve marked the most common spawn areas on the map where players have found the Megazord capsules.

How to Transform and Play as Megazord in Fortnite
Getting into the Megazord is pretty simple once you find the capsule. When the Megazord lands, it comes down in a capsule that you can interact with. Walk up to the capsule after it hits the ground. You’ll see Zordon inside the capsule. When you get close enough, you’ll see a prompt that says “Pilot Megazord”. Press the interact button (E on PC) to get inside and take control.
But there’s a catch – you only get about 2 minutes to use the Megazord. This timer counts down faster if other players are shooting at you, so you need to make your time count. Focus on getting eliminations and causing damage while you can. Before you can attack other players, you have to fight Rita Repulsa’s forces first. This is part of the event story. After you beat this enemy, you’re free to go after other players in the match.
If you can’t reach the capsule first, don’t give up. You can still get a reward by dealing the most damage to the Megazord while another player is controlling it. The player who deals the highest damage will receive the Megazord Medallion when the robot is destroyed or the timer runs out.
All Megazord Abilities in Fortnite
The Megazord has four different abilities you can use during your time as the giant robot:

- The Sword Slash is your best weapon for close fights. It does the most damage and can hit multiple players if they’re grouped together. Use this when enemies are near buildings or trying to hide close to you.
- Tank Cannons work best for players who are far away or on high ground. You fire two shots at the same time, so you can deal good damage even if you miss with one of them.
- The Stomp Attack is perfect when players are hiding right under you or trying to build around your feet. Many players don’t expect this attack, so it can catch them off guard.
- Don’t forget about the Scanner ability. This is really helpful for finding players who are hiding in buildings or behind cover. Use it often to keep track of where your enemies are moving.
How Long Does the Megazord Event Last in Fortnite
The Megazord event in Fortnite will end on October 3rd. Remember that your time as the Megazord is limited, so don’t waste it walking around. Focus on areas where you know players are hiding and use your scanner to find targets.
