Marvel Rivals just dropped Dev Vision Vol 09 with news about Season 4, which starts on September 12th. Along with the new season info, they showed off Summer Special Volume 2. This new summer event is bringing back beach skins, just like the first Summer Party event we had earlier this year.
The Summer Special Volume 2 launches on September 18th and features summer outfits for five different heroes. The developers showcased these skins in the Season 4 preview, but we’re still waiting on the full details about how to get them.
Marvel Rivals Summer Skins Release Date
Summer Special Volume 2 launches on September 18th, 2025. We don’t have the exact time or end date yet, but we’ll update this article once we get more details. Five heroes are getting new summer skins in this event:
- The Punisher
- Invisible Woman
- Mantis
- Human Torch
- The Thing
We’ve seen previews of these skins but don’t have their official names or prices yet.

How to Get Summer Special Volume 2 Skins
Right now, we don’t know exactly how you’ll get these summer skins. The developers haven’t shared if they’ll be in the store, part of an event pass, or both. Looking at the first Summer Party event, that one had three skins you could earn through the event pass and two skins you had to buy from the store. If Summer Special Volume 2 works the same way, we might see a similar setup.
Will There Be Free Beach Skins in Marvel Rivals?
We’re not sure if there will be any free skins in Summer Special Volume 2. The first summer event gave players a free Thor skin at level 14 of the event pass. If this new event follows the same pattern, there might be a free skin, but we can’t say for certain.
