In Roblox The Forge, your race quietly determines how strong your character feels over time. It affects core gameplay elements such as combat efficiency, stamina usage, movement speed, mining output, and survivability. Although every new player starts with a randomly assigned race, most players eventually look for something better suited to their goals.
This is where rerolling becomes important.
This guide explains every race available in The Forge, their rarity and roll chances, and all the ways you can reroll races, including free options, NPC rerolls, shop rerolls, and practical advice to avoid wasting spins. The goal is to keep things clear and easy to understand, even if you’re completely new to the game.
How Races Function in The Forge

Races act as permanent modifiers rather than active abilities. Once selected, they apply passive bonuses that stay with your character unless you reroll.
Depending on the race you get, you may benefit from:
- Higher damage output or increased maximum health
- Faster movement, stamina recovery, or dash improvements
- Mining-related boosts and forge bonuses
- Special effects that activate during combat or while taking damage
Lower-tier races are more common and beginner-friendly, while higher-tier races are rare and designed for advanced PvE or PvP play.

Rerolling Races Using the Wizard
Every player receives a free race roll at the start. After that, rerolling is handled through a hidden NPC called the Wizard.
Finding the Wizard

From Stonewake’s Cross, head toward the cave but take the left path instead. Continue forward, pass the nearby NPC, and look for a small house near the end of the path. Inside, you’ll find the Wizard.
Later on, the Wizard can also be accessed inside the Forgotten Kingdom castle area.
Reroll Steps
- Interact with the Wizard
- Press E to open the reroll menu
- Spend one spin
- Receive a new random race
Once rerolled, your previous race is permanently replaced.
Rerolling Directly From the Menu
If you want a faster option, rerolls can be done through the shop menu.
- Open your bag with T
- Switch to the Shop tab
- Select Race Menu
- Click Reroll
This skips the need to travel back to the Wizard.
Ways to Get More Reroll Spins
Using Codes

Redeeming codes through the settings menu is the fastest free method. Many codes provide multiple reroll spins at once, especially during updates or events.
Event Quests
Limited-time NPCs like Santa offer daily quests that reward tickets. These tickets can be exchanged for rerolls in the shop, making this a reliable free option over time.
Buying Rerolls
Players who want immediate results can purchase rerolls with Robux. Spins are sold in bundles, and Robux can also be earned indirectly through reward platforms before being used in-game.
How to Unlock Additional Race Slots
The Forge allows up to three race slots, letting you keep multiple races at once.
- Slot 1: Available by default
- Slot 2: Unlock at level 30 or with Robux
- Slot 3: Unlock at level 100 or with Robux
This system is useful for maintaining separate builds without constant rerolling.
Race rerolling is a key progression system in Roblox The Forge. Understanding how races work, where to reroll, and how to earn spins without spending money gives you a clear advantage.
